The safety of our students and employees is our top responsibility. Based on the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Sally, all Jefferson Parish public schools and administration buildings will be closed Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15.
All school and district activities and events during this two-day period are canceled. Any evening activities, including Back-to-School events, are also canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
Depending on the impact of the storm, we may make additional adjustments, especially for our schools in Grand Isle and Lafitte. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and keep you informed.
We will use our district email and our Student Progress Center messaging system to communicate the latest information directly to our families and employees.
