The Jefferson Parish Schools Advanced Study Academies (ASA) application window for the 2022-23 school year is open through November 5. JP Schools is hosting in-person technical assistance to any family looking for help with their ASA application. The assistance will be offered on Saturday, October 16th at the JP Schools Administration Building at 501 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parents will have access to a device to create an application and upload all documents. All CDC guidelines will be followed.

JP Schools is launching a new portal this year that will streamline the application process for ASAs as well as other magnet and specialty programs offered by the system. Families will use the portal to apply, select testing dates, and receive status updates from the district. This new tool will serve as a one-stop-shop that makes it easier for families to take advantage of some of the many choice options offered in Jefferson Parish.
