Nine JP Schools Educators Graduate from National Leadership Program
Nine educators in Jefferson Parish Schools participated in a national leadership program. The National Center on Education and the Economy's NISL program is the most widely used research-proven professional learning program for school leaders in the country. It prepares school leaders to create and lead high-performance organizations, improve instruction, leverage data-driven decision making, improve student and school culture, and focus on equity. JP Schools' first NISL cohort included the following educators:
- Rachel Boudreaux: Solis Elementary
- Shannon Castay: Riviere Elementary
- Jeannine Dwyer: Estelle School
- Adrienne Green: West Jefferson High
- Robert Johnson: Helen Cox High
- Michele O’Steen: Marrero Middle
- Sirena Wurth: Itinerant Assistant Principal
- Nick Sonnier: Bonnabel High
- Eric Spadoni: Audubon Elementary
These leaders participated in the program throughout the 2021-22 school year. NISL provides school leaders with a vision for high-performance education systems and leadership. It helps school leaders redesign their schools as higher performance organizations.
