Carpool Information

 Carpool

The carpool line is supervised by teachers beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 8:30 a.m. Students may be dropped off as early as 8:00 a.m. and must be dropped in carpool line and enter the building through the gate on Lake Avenue. Vehicles should not park or be left unattended in the line during carpool, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

When the bell rings at 8:30 a.m., any students arriving will need to be walked to the office, accompanied by a parent, in order to receive a tardy slip. There will be NO TEACHERS on duty after the 8:30 a.m. bell.

The carpool sign, displaying student name, should be displayed clearly from the rear view mirror. The sign should remain until the child is inside the car. If there is no sign, your child will not be called. Pull ahead as soon as your child is safely in the vehicle. If you "cut" the line, your child will not be called until the line has ended.

Cell Phone Usage:

According to Louisiana state law, while driving through a school zone, it is unlawful to use your cell phone or mobile device EXCEPT for an emergency.
