Workshops Help Immigrant Students & Parents Understand College Application Process
ECCO is hosting a pair of workshops in November to help immigrant students and families better understand the college application process.
On November 3, ECCO will host an in-person event for immigrant students and families who need assistance completing the FAFSA application. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the ECCO Centro Comunitario at 4334 Earhart Blvd. 2nd floor in New Orleans. On November 12, ECCO will host Camino a la universidad 2021-2022. Beyond FAFSA: Funding College for Immigrants will provide information about scholarships available for immigrant students as well as financial literacy. This workshop will take place via Zoom from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It will be led by IYEF NOLA Co-Founder Linett Luna and El centro Founder Lindsey Navarro. Registration can be done online.
