Superintendent's Message: October 16, 2020
Dear JP Schools Family,
There have been many changes this year, and one of the greatest has been the broad use of technology by all students, both in the classroom and at home. Our teachers have embraced our new technology tools and are effectively using them to enhance learning and deliver high quality content to our students every day. Meanwhile, students are gaining critical technology skills. The need for virtual learning has ushered our schools into a new digital era, which will continue to benefit our schools for years to come.
As stated in 2024: The Future Our Kids Deserve, we want to focus on the overall child and give them more than just an education. The knowledge and character shaped by our schools will benefit students for the rest of their lives. Just as educational learning does not end when a student leaves the classroom, we want these same values to carry on once they leave school. We exist to provide the education our students deserve to succeed in life and make our world a better place. Our teachers and administrators are doing an exemplary job preparing our students to achieve socially, emotionally and academically. Our teachers and administrators are vested in our children’s future.
Thank you for your support as we continue to navigate this new terrain. As I look around, I am proud of the work taking place in our schools. As long as we continue to lead with love, we will continue moving in the right direction to create the best possible outcomes for our students.
Regards,
Dr. James Gray
