The week of April 16th was celebrated as National Volunteer Recognition Week. All week we highlighted 6 volunteers at various schools who do great things for our students daily on all of our social media channels. Scroll below to see how they help JP Schools be great! 

Meet Mayda Conner! Mayda is the leader of Chateau Estates School PTO and she plans many awesome events at their school from multicultural feasts to teacher appreciation luncheons.

Meet Teaira Morrison and Julia Hodge! Teaira and Julia volunteer with Jefferson Elementary School 's Jag Krewe (PTO) serving as the president and vice president.

Meet Nicole Mayorga! Mrs. Mayorga volunteers with both Airline Park Academy’s PTO and Friends of Airline Park organizations supporting the students and school community.

Meet Joseph and Carla Deckelman! The Deckelman's attend Marie Riviere Elementary each week to sell snacks to students to help maintain student achievement.

Meet Captain Jarvis Jackson! Jarvis volunteers 4 days a week at Johnson Gretna Park Elementary. He mentors students, assists families in need, and he helps with crossing their students safely every morning.

Meet Noel Bertucci! Noel has volunteered with Chateau Estates School PBIS store this year. She consistently volunteers on their store days and donates prizes their students love! Her school is so thankful to have Noel on their team.
