How do you think your students will remember you in your class?

“I think they’ll remember that I know their struggles and where they are coming from so I am able to provide them the proper education they need. I want them to know that I care for them and that I love them. I hope they remember that we helped them achieve their goals and still laugh while we learn.”

What’s the best thing about working at your school?

“I think that we are all very kind to each other and we are all willing to help each other out.”

What is the best advice you’ve been given about teaching?

“Be easy on yourself. More things don’t work than work, especially in special education because every student has different needs and we need to be very flexible.”

What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to?

“It would be Capri, Italy, which is on the coast of Italy. I lived 30 minutes from there so that was the weekend trip we would do.”

Describe yourself in 3 words.

“I would say patient, determined, and kind.”
