The safety of students and employees is our top priority. Jefferson Parish Schools is canceling all after-school activities for March 22, 2022 due to the forecast of severe weather. This includes child care, practices, middle school athletics, tutoring,  and meetings. School dismissal and bus transportation home will operate on a normal schedule.

The National Weather Service’s latest forecast says severe weather is likely Tuesday afternoon and evening. Most of Jefferson Parish is categorized at an enhanced risk of severe weather, which could include tornadoes, flooding, hail, and damaging wind. The forecast calls for the greatest threat in our region to areas north of Lake Pontchartrain.
