Congratulations to Gretna Middle for being named the Jefferson Parish Schools November 2021 School of the Month.

Every month, JP Schools highlights academic excellence through its School of the Month program. The honor acknowledges schools that are implementing practices that generate positive student outcomes.

"It's our teachers, it's our support staff, our families, our students, everyone who has had a hand in Gretna Middle School, they all play a role in this recognition and the work we do everyday," said Gretna Middle Principal Dahme Bolden.

• Teachers facilitate student learning by establishing high expectations for all students and fostering a positive learning environment in each classroom.

• Teaching and learning is a priority as evidenced by focus on learning and implementation of Tier 1 curricula.
