What are your must have smart-phone apps?
I definitely need Uber Eats and DoorDash. When I'm too tired to cook, I just order my favorite foods and enjoy.
How do you spend your summer breaks?
I usually take a trip to the beach. I try to relax as much as possible. I love to swim and read, so I spend most of my summer days doing those things.
What is your favorite show to binge watch and why?
I love the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It always gives me a good laugh and has some great lessons embedded as well.
What is the best part of teaching?
Productive struggle. I love to see my students work together to solve problems. They get upset with me in the beginning, but I love how rewarded they feel when they figure things out on their own.
If you could take your students on a field trip anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Wow! I have a long list of places. I would love to take them to see the Seven Wonders of the World. If I had to pick just one, I would say the pyramids in Giza. I've always been fascinated with the architecture and I think that telling the kids about it does not do it justice. I think they would be amazed.
