What motivates you to work hard?

• “What motivates me are my parents and the people around me, they always push me to do the best that I can. I want to be successful for them and myself.”

What would you like to achieve this year? 

• " I would like to at least have a 3.5 or higher GPA and be in honors classes in high school. I also want to get accepted into a really good high school.”

How do you show your school spirit?

• “I like to show school spirit by being respectful, being enthusiastic, and investing time and energy into my school community."

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

• “I'll be 23. I want to see myself being a professional basketball athlete with a degree. My dream team is the New Orleans Pelicans.”

If our state was represented by just one food, what would it be?

• “I think it would be gumbo because it shows our culture and it has lots of flavors.”
