With the first day of school, Jefferson Parish Schools is making it easier for families to have their questions answered about bus transportation.

The district’s annual transportation hotline is open. The number to call is 504-349-8999. The call center will be available to families weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until August 19.

All schools have received transportation assignments. If families have not received that information, they may also contact their child’s school. Contact information for all schools can be found here.

The first day of school is August 8 for students in grades 1-8 and 12. Students in grades 10-11 start August 9, students in grade 9 start August 10, and students in Kindergarten and Pre-K start August 11. All high school students report August 12.
