Following an inspection of our school buildings and after assessing area power outages, all Jefferson Parish public schools and administration buildings will be closed tomorrow, Friday, October 30. There will be no remote learning tomorrow for students. All school and district activities and events are also cancelled.
We will continue to share information with employees and families on when we can safely reopen our school buildings.
We will continue to use district email and text alerts to communicate the latest information directly to our families and employees. We will also provide updates via the district’s website (www.jpschools.org) and our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
