Jenny Robards
Kindergarten Teacher, Rudolph Matas School

What is the best part about teaching?

  • I love seeing the students' growth from the beginning to the end of the school year. It’s amazing to see where they started and where they ended up. It always amazes me.

How do you think students will remember you and your class?

  • I am not sure how they will remember me but I do hope they will remember me as being kind, fun, and enthusiastic about teaching. I hope they look back on kindergarten and reflect on how much they learned and how fun it was.

What is the best thing about working at your school?

  • The coworkers! Everybody is really supportive and we are a great team to work with. I like how diverse our student population is and how everyone is included. It’s a nice, kind environment and everyone gets along.

What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria?

  • I like cheeseburgers and french fries!

How do you stay organized?

  • I feel like I have controlled chaos in my classroom. I love being organized and I do try to stay organized but sometimes I know where something is, I just may misplace it sometimes.
