Parents have the option to drive their students to school and/or pick them up at the end of the school day. Please view the graphic below for a visual representation of traffic flow on campus.
If you are coming down Stumpf Boulevard from the Westbank Expressway, simply turn right onto Gretna Boulevard and turn right into the first driveway following along the fence line. You will drive down the alleyway, turn left into the parking lot, go all the way down and turn left again to enter the drop off lane.
If you are coming down Gretna Boulevard from Belle Chasse Highway (Hwy 23), simply turn left to enter the campus and make the immediate right towards the fence line. Turn left to enter the carpool lane and follow the drive along the fence. You will drive down the alleyway, turn left into the parking lot, go all the way down and turn left again to enter the drop off lane.
The carpool gate opens at 7:45 am. As we are taking more precautions this school year due to COVID-19, all students will have their temperature tested before they exit the vehicle in carpool. If a student is deemed to have a temperature of 99.4 or higher, they will not be allowed to exit the vehicle in the carpool lane. Please allow extra time as this will be a new process for the school and students alike. Delays are likely. To help expedite drop off, please have your student ready to gather their things and hustle out of the car. Students will enter the gym as they make their way to the breezeway.
When exiting the carpool lane, do not take the first opening on Gretna Boulevard just to the right of the car pool exit if you are trying to turn to head towards Stumpf Boulevard. This turn backs up and causes a delay in the carpool line. You should continue down Gretna Boulevard to the next U-turn. We know it is an extra block but it helps to keep the carpool line moving for drop off and pick up.
Parents, please do not drop your students off in the front circle as this is for bus loading and unloading only.
Please do not drop your student off on Gretna Boulevard as this is a safety concern for our students as the road gets congested during carpool times. Cars stopping and merging suddenly can cause an accident and/or injury.
