Superintendent's Parent Council
The Superintendent’s Parent Council will build and strengthen family and school partnerships that are essential for helping students achieve at their maximum potential. We believe strong parent collaboration is an important component of helping all students achieve their academic goals. The council members will be particularly focused on how to increase family engagement to ensure academic success. Parent discussions and input are highly valued and member attendance at all council meetings is encouraged.
Superintendent's Parent Council will meet four times this year from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at alternating sites:
- September 18 at the JP Schools Administration Building at 501 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey
- November 20 at the Paul Emenes Building at 822 S. Clearview Pkwy. in Harahan
- January 15 at the JP Schools Administration Building at 501 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey
- March 18 at the Paul Emenes Building at 822 S. Clearview Pkwy. in Harahan
Interested in Joining a Council?
Membership in most of our Superintendent's Councils rotates on an annual basis. An application period is held near the beginning of each school year. Please check back with this page in July and August of 2020 for information on applying for the 2020-21 Superintendent's Councils.
