B Rated School District

This year, our overall performance score increased by 2.2 points, rising to 77.2. Maintaining and growing within a B rating for two consecutive years is a significant achievement for a district of our size. The upward trend confirms that our systems, support, and instructional priorities are leading to measurable gains for students.

No F-Rated Schools

For the first time in several years, Jefferson Parish Schools has no F-rated schools. This reflects the work that has gone into strengthening the curriculum, improving coaching, and providing consistent support for teachers and leaders. It also demonstrates real improvement for students and families in schools that needed the most attention.

Highlights from This Year’s Results:

Across the district, schools continued to gain momentum and show steady progress.

• 12 schools increased their letter grades
• About 70 percent of schools grew or maintained performance
• 10 schools grew six or more points
• 12 schools earned an A rating, with every A-rated school maintaining their status
• 14 schools earned a B rating
• 50 schools grew overall, including 46 traditional schools and 4 charter schools

These results reflect consistent work from teachers, stronger coaching structures, and clearer expectations for high-quality instruction.
