Jefferson High School Summer Bridge
Jefferson High School Summer Bridge 2025 is designed to provide targeted high school students an opportunity to retake a LEAP content course to earn Carnegie credit and graduate on time. Summer Bridge is a free summer learning opportunity. The program will run from June 2nd - June 20th (No classes on June 19), 8:15 am - 11:30 am.

The High School Summer Bridge opportunity is available to students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a Jefferson Parish School high school in grade 9-12 during the 2024-25 school year
- Previously attempted but failed a LEAP content course
- Met LEAP testing requirement for graduation
The courses offered are: English I/II, Algebra I/Geometry, Biology/US History and Civics. Students may only enroll in one course. This program is not traditional summer school nor is it a self-paced PLATO recovery. The Summer Bridge program is an in-person instructional program to recover credit. The final student grade earned in the program will be added to the transcript (original grade will not be replaced).
