The district policy is students in grades 4–12 must use only clear, see-through backpacks or tote bags. However, schools have the discretion to require their entire school to use a clear bag. If you have a specific questions regarding grades 3 or below, please contact your school.

There are no size specifications for the clear backpack.

No. Mesh backpacks are not allowed. Students are permitted to only use clear backpacks (see example).

Yes. A mesh organizer inside the front pocket is allowed (see example).

No. Backpack must have clear visibility through all dimensions excluding the backpack bottom (see example).

No. Colored, transparent backpacks are not allowed (see example). Only fully clear backpacks are permitted.

No. Stripes in any location are not allowed on the backpack (see example).

Yes. The backpack may have colored straps (see example).

Yes. Leather reinforcements on the corners are permitted (see example).

Yes. Small company and school logos are allowed (see example), but large logos, monograms or other visual design obstructions are not.

Yes. Athletic bags and equipment bags will be allowed but must be checked in with the student’s coach or sponsor upon arrival on campus. 

Yes. Non-transparent lunch kits no larger than approximately 8.5" L x 5.25" are permitted to be carried.

Yes. Clear totes, purses and bags are allowed (see examples).

No. Fabric, wallpaper or any other material that conceals the contents of the backpack is not permitted.
