    The TJ Athletic Department offers the following high school sports:

     

    Fall

    Cross Country (girls and boys)

    Football

    Swim Team (girls and boys)

    Athletics at Thomas Jefferson has been very competitive and our teams have made several playoff appearances. We have also had individual State Champions in the sports of Gymnastics, Swimming, and Wrestling. 

     

    In order for a student to tryout for an athletic team, they must have a valid physical and medical history form turned in to the Athletics Office. This must be on the official LHSAA Medical History Evaluation form that can be obtained in the front office or you may print the form below.

     

    Once a student makes a team, they will need to register with FamilyID.com and pay a $35 Athletic Fee. This fee is used for general athletics maintenance, end of year awards, and various administrative items purchased throughout the year.  Please see the Athletic Director, Coach Emily Cormier, to make your payment by cash or check or you may pay online at SchoolCashOnline.

    The Thomas Jefferson Athletic Department requires an online registration process for all athletes.  This online registration eliminates many forms that are required for athletic participation. 

    This year, the district is requiring all athletes and parents to complete a COVID-19 Waiver.  This waiver is included on FamilyID.

    FamilyID must be completed BEFORE a student can participate in any tryouts, conditioning, or practices for any sport.

    In addition to the online registration, all athletes must have an up to date physical turned in to the athletic office.  Once the student is on a team, they must pay a yearly, non refundable $35 Athletic Fee.  This fee may be paid by cash or check to Coach Cormier (Athletic Director) or on SchoolCashOnline.
