Fisher Middle-High School is honored to have two working artists teaching in the Visual Arts program. In high school, Vanessa Favaloro, a graphics artist, teaches Talented Art I-IV, visual arts, and fine arts classes. Students work with several media, including clay, charcoal, watercolors, paper mache, and oils. Their two and three-dimensional art is displayed in front of the office, and at various art shows.
In middle school, Bethan Morgans works with students in a “pull out” program. While students do not receive Carnegie units in the middle school for art, they participate in area art shows, and receive intensive instruction in both two and three-dimensional art, such as paper mache, still life, charcoals, pastels, and clay.
The Fisher Middle-High School faculty, staff, and students are pleased to have Theater Teacher, Felix Favaloro on board! Felix has been an integral part of Fisher’s staff for several years now, teaching both Talented Drama classes in High School, and Drama resource in Middle School. Felix and his students have given us many wonderful moments, most recently, during the first semester Monologues and Drama Showcase, which featured several students in dramatic monologues, as well as an original student written, produced, and performed play.

Jeff Adam, Aaron Caulfield and Leah Bladsacker matriculate along with our high school students, while Paige Falcon, Sabrina Combel and Toni Ronquille help our middle schoolers “add” to their ever-increasing math skills.
Michael May and Keva Jones keep our high school students busy, both in the lab and through technical resources, as well as utilizing real-world activities and events. In the middle school, we have the effervescent Kim Breaux and Paige Falcon, who guides our young scientists to decode the mysteries of science through fun, demanding hands-on activities.
Our social studies department is in the capable hands of Raymond Zoska and Brandon Petrie. These gentlemen know their history (and geography, and civics)!
Bienvenido al Departamento de Español de Fisher! Led by native speaker Josephine Carmadelle, our Spanish classes are muy bien! Our students are in excellent hands, learning to conjugate verbs, comment in various social conversations, and read and write in the language that is the fastest growing second language throughout our country.
Our special education department, under the direction of Toni Ronquille, department head, works diligently to meet the needs of our students who struggle with writing, reading, mathematics, and other disabilities or difficulties. Should you wish to have your child screened for the various programs available, including gifted and talented classes, please contact Mrs. Ronquille at your earliest convenience through the front office at 504-689-3665 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org
