    Auto Body Repair
    (Skilled Trade)

    Learn up-to-date collision and mechanical repair methods, repair damaged frames, refinish and appraise damaged cars, paint cars and operate paint machines, use air files, sanders and arc weld.  2 semesters - 4 credits;  Industry- Based Certification: I -Car

    Auto Technician
    (Skilled Trade)

    Learn to repair the latest makes and models of cars and trucks in the areas of automotive maintenance and light repair, automotive brakes, automotive electrical/electronics, automotive steering/ suspension,
    and automotive engine repair/performance.  2 semesters - 4 credits or 4 semesters - 8 credits;  Dual Enrollment, Work-Based Learning;  Industry- Based Certification: Automotive Service Excellence Student Certification

    AWS Welding
    (Skilled Trade)

    Learn basic core skills necessary to become a certified welder. Gain the skills that are applied with industry quality equipment to open opportunities for the high employment rates of the welding field.  2 semesters - 4 credits or 4 semesters - 8 credits;  Industry-Based Certification: AWS Certified Welder

    Barber with Micro-Enterprise
    (Business Management)

    Learn hair cutting & styling, coloring, shampooing, attire, curling and waving, facial shaving, razor techniques, rod sets, uniform layer cut, scalp & face massage, tool maintenance, financial management and
    customer service.  2 year course - 8 credits;  Industry Based Certification: Micro-Enterprise;  Students may sit for Barber License Exam after graduation

    Carpentry – CDF Pre-Apprenticeship
    (Skilled Trade)

    Learn how to use a combination of power and hand tools to build various projects such as furniture and storage buildings while learning to read plans and blueprints.2 semesters - 4 credits;  Industry-Based Certification: CITF Level 2

     Cosmetology with Micro-Enterprise
    (Business Management)

    Become a licensed Cosmetologist in two years. Learn anatomy physiology, sanitation, shampooing, hair coloring, shampoo & styling, permanent waving, facials, the application of cosmetics makeup, salon management & nail care.

    2 year course - 8 credits (Sophomores & Juniors);  Cosmetology License (after graduation);  Industry Based Certification: Micro-Enterprise

    Dental Assistant
    (Health Sciences)

    Learn dental procedures while exploring dental careers. Develop and practice skills in a simulated dental office.  1 semester - 2 credits;  Industry-Based Certification: NOCTI

    Graphic Arts
    (Entertainment Technology)

    Learn to create, design and print documents using the latest programs, computers and equipment through practical applications. Student will produce work for themselves, the community and JPSchools.  2 semesters - 4 credits;  Industry Based Certification: Adobe Certified Specialist, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

    Industrial Machine Shop

    Train as a machinist by building machine parts using lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and CNC (computer numerical controlled) machines. Develop skills in reading blueprints, using machine shop math, practicing layouts, completing bench work and heat treating.  2 semesters - 4 credits or 4 semesters - 8 credits;  Dual Enrollment, Work-Based Learning;  NIMS Accredited;  Industry-Based Certification: NIMS

     Medical Assistant
    (Health Science)

    Learn front & back office clinical, patient medications, triage, injections, specimens, EKG, & phlebotomy.  1 semester - 2 credits (Seniors);  Industry Based Certification: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant;  NHA

    Patient Care Technician
    (Health Science)

    Learn to bathe, position, ambulate, and feed patients. Also, learn to make beds the medical way. Work-based strategies include patient care in a lab setting.  1 semester - 2 credits (Seniors); Industry- Based Certification: Certified Patient Care Technician/ Assistant/NHA

    Software Design - JavaScript
    (Information Technology)

    Learn computer programming that can lead to a variety of career paths, such as: software engineering, game development, robotics, bioinformatics, information assurance or security, and web/mobile app development.  2 semesters - 4 credits;  Industry Based Certification: CIW Web Development Professional;   

    IBC (Industry-Based Certification): A portable, recognized credential (tangible evidence) that validates an individual has successfully demonstrated skill competencies in a core set of content and performance standards in a specific set of work related tasks, single occupational area, or a cluster of related occupational areas.
