OUR WORK
Speech and Hearing services are designed to support students in developing communication skills to be successful in their educational environment. Students qualify for services through an evaluation and IEP.
OUR POPULATION & SERVICES:

Children ages 3 -21 years of age

Public schools, accredited non-public schools, and community sites
-
Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach in order to help promote and generalize communication skills across environments and with various partners

Preventative services may be provided by the SLP or by teachers and parents in consultation with the SLP
-
Audiology services include hearing screening and testing, supports use of amplification devices, and collaborates with students, families, and teachers to support student needs
-
Teachers of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students provide direct instruction, consultation, monitoring, and self advocacy skills for students, based on IEP needs
-
Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies are provided for complex communicators
