Collaborative Council

CollaborativeCouncilBanner.png
A group of people, some standing and some seated, appear to be engaged in a discussion or activity around a table in what seems to be an educational or professional setting.

The Superintendent Collaborative Council is a diverse advisory group designed to strengthen communication, collaboration, and shared decision-making between district leadership and key stakeholder groups. The council is composed of two representatives from each of the following groups: parents, English language learner (ELL) advocates, teachers, special education advocates, and school principals.

The purpose of the council is to provide meaningful input on district initiatives, policies, and priorities, ensuring that a broad range of perspectives are considered in decision-making processes. Council members serve as liaisons to their respective communities, bringing forward feedback, concerns, and ideas to support continuous improvement across the district.

Through regular meetings with the Superintendent, the Collaborative Council will:

  • Discuss district-wide goals, challenges, and successes.
  • Provide feedback on proposed initiatives and policy changes.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen equity, access, and academic achievement for all students.
  • Promote transparency and trust among school communities.

The Superintendent Collaborative Council plays a vital role in shaping a unified vision for educational excellence and equity throughout the district.

The council will meet one time this school year with the Superintendent at an identified site, time TBD.  If selected, you are committed to attending and actively participating in council meetings on the following dates:
