Jefferson Parish Schools recognizes the significant impact that COVID-19 and the subsequent school closures are having on the emotional well being of many of our families and staff. In order to provide emotional support, we created an Emotional Support Line for parents and staff members. 

Experienced mental health professionals will be available via telephone to provide emotional support and share any pertinent resources during these difficult times. Parents of Jefferson Parish Schools students and staff members may call (504) 349-7629, Monday – Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. to speak to one of our trained mental health professionals.

If students, staff, or families are in a life-threatening situation, they should call 911.
