• School Cash Online (SCO) is the online store for Thomas Jefferson Academy.  For safety and efficiency reasons, JP Schools would like to reduce the amount of cash and checks coming into our school.  With School Cash Online, parents and students are able to pay for class fees, spirit items, athletic player fees, club fees and more.  You don't have to worry if the check gets lost or is in the black hole (the bottom of a student's book bag that is known to take check and important papers so they never reach the intended destination).  You won't have to worry if your student will lose cash.  And SCO keeps track of your purchases so there is no more wondering if you paid that fee or keeping track of paper receipts you hope your student brings home.

SCO has an option that you may select when you register your account that enables SCO to prompt you by email or text when anything that is available for your student is created on SCO.  However, this does not mean the item is REQUIRED for your student.  The online store works much the same way as any online store such as Amazon or a department store.  You have the ability to purchase the items listed, but you are by no means required to make the purchase.

For example, in the case of the Athletic Fee, it is made available to all students in all grades as it is too tedious to go in and activate the fee by student as they show interest in playing a sport.  A class fee is made available to all students as it is too tedious to activate the fee for specific students in a class.  You simply pay the fee that is applicable to your student.  Each item that is added to SCO has a description.  We try to be as detailed as possible to help you determine if this fee applies to your student.  When in doubt, it is important to verify the need to pay with your student, teacher, or the Account Clerk.
