    As a Thomas Jefferson Academy student, the PSAT (Pre-SAT) test is required each year from the 9th through the 11th grade.  This standardized test is designed to parallel the SAT test.  It includes an excellent career inventory and practice test for 9th and 10th grades, as the PSAT counts only in the 11th grade year for National Merit Scholarship awards.  For more information on this scholarship opportunity, please visit National Merit Scholarship.

     

    The PSAT Fee is $18 and will be available to pay online at School Cash Online.  Students that do not pay the fee by October 26, 2021, will incur a financial obligation.  Parents that wish to pay by cash or check (made payable to "Thomas Jefferson Academy" in standard blue or black ink) may bring the payment in to Ms Samantha in the office.

     

    The PSAT Student Guide gives all the particulars involving the PSAT test and includes a practice test.  It is highly recommended that you read the entire book, take the practice test, and share all information with your parents.  Students receive the PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide at school.  You can view the guide at:
