Mr. Charles Allen, II
Dean of Students, Freshman Academy
Mr. Charles E. Allen II, is a native of Marrero, a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Economics (1997). He also holds a high school math teaching certification from Southern University in New Orleans (2009) and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Xavier University of Louisiana (2015). Mr. Allen also completed 36 hours graduate work in the field of Agribusiness Management from Alabama A&M University (2002). Mr. Allen is currently serving as the Dean of the Freshman Academy at Grace King High School (2020) ---- 1st Year at Grace King High School. Prior to being a Freshman Academy Dean at Grace King High School, he was the High School Math Coordinator for JP Schools for three years. Mr. Allen has twelve years of experience in teaching middle and high school math., ranging from 7th grade – 12th grade math, in New Orleans and Jefferson public schools. Mr. Allen believes that all children can learn, and he is committed to this educational philosopy every school day.
Ms. Donsherie Sullivan
Dean of Students, 11th & 12th Grade Academy
Mrs. Donsherie Sullivan re-joined the Grace King family in 2019 following her international work as a Senior Development Officer for a large non-profit in the United Kingdom. Mrs Sullivan has been an educator since 1998 following earning a B.A from Xavier University of Louisiana. She additionally holds a M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Supervision from the University of New Orleans. Mrs Sullivan lives by the educational philosophy of W.E.B. Du Bois, “Education must not simply teach work-it must teach life.”
Mr. Wade Price
Dean of Students, Sophomore Academy
Mr. Wade Price, is a 1984 graduate of Jefferson Parish Public Schools (West Jefferson) and has worked at the elementary level, middle school level, junior high level, and senior high school level. Mr. Price joined the Jefferson Parish Public Schools System in 1996 and was appointed to the Grace King faculty in 2017. He has earned a Bachelor's of Arts at The University of New Orleans (UNO) in Secondary Education (Social Studies 6-12), a Master's of Education from UNO focusing on Curriculum & Instruction in 2000, adding a certification for Supervision and Administration in 2005, and he received the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation award for Louisiana in 2000. Mr. Price previously taught social studies, physical science, and life science in Grades 6-12. His educational philosophy is simple and predicated on the belief that the strength of relationships that he has developed is paramount to getting students to know that he cares about them as individuals first. The adage, "They won't care what you know until they know you care," has meaning to him.
Ms. Brianna Zuniga
Ms. Brianna Zuniga
Office of Operations Clerk
Ms. Brianna Zuniga has served as the Operations Clerk at Grace King High School since November, 2018. Ms. Zuniga is blessed to be bilingual in English and in Spanish. A firm believer that education is a very important factor in one's life, Ms. Zuniga also believes that there are life lessons to be learned from every situation or obstacle. She helps every student and parent who walks through the Office of Operations doorway, because here at Grace King family takes care of family.
