Optional At-Home Learning Resources

  • Jefferson Parish is offering at-home learning options in two different formats: online and print. JP Schools is not requiring online or paper-based distance learning since we cannot ensure that all students will have equal access to learning. We are the largest district in our state with a diverse student population, and many of our students do not have regular access to technology or the internet.

These resources are meant to provide optional opportunities for student learning while students are absent from school. We encourage our students and families to utilize these resources. Teachers will be available via email should families have questions. You can find teacher emails on your school website. Please know this will not take the place of regular classroom instruction but is meant to supplement student learning at home as an optional substitute made necessary by the moment.

Paper-Based Learning Resources

  • Jefferson Parish Schools is providing paper learning packets for families who do not have the home technology to utilize our online resources or who would rather have paper-based resources. Families can pick up the second round of printed learning packets at one of our 13 grab & go sites March 30 through April 2. The printed packets should last most students around two weeks. The first round of packets can be found under the "Printed Learning Packets" section of this page.
