Students attending Ruppel Academie Francaise experience the same curriculum as students who attend the district’s Advanced Study Academies (ASA), with the added benefit of daily classes in French. Ruppel Academie Francaise offers a challenging academic program along with courses in the French language to students in grades PK through 5th in the 2021-2022 school year. The school will expand by one grade level each year, eventually converting to a full PK-8 school for the 2024-2025 school year.
The 2019-2020 school year was a transitional year for Ruppel. It was the last year for traditional ASA 6th through 8th graders to be on the Ruppel campus. Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, Thomas Jefferson High School took on the same 6th through 12th grade configuration as Patrick Taylor and Haynes Academy. Traditional Ruppel ASA students moved to the Thomas Jefferson campus and became Thomas Jefferson students.
