Discovery Days were originally part of Dr. Brumley's 100-day entry plan. They were developed as a way to understand the district from as many viewpoints as possible. The insight he gained during these first nine Discovery Days helped create the district's strategic plan, 2024: The Future Our Kids Deserve. This school year's stops included Fisher Middle-High, Harris Middle, Pitre Elementary, Alexander Elementary, Riviere Elementary, Cherbonnier-Rillieux Elementary, Gretna Middle, Adams Middle, and Strehle Elementary.
