Our parent teacher organization is the Metairie Co-op. The Co-op does whatever they can to promote a successful community at your school. This covers anything from raising money, to organizing events such a Fall Fiesta, Holiday Shop, Starry Night Gala and monthly meetings just to name a few.
The Metairie Academy Co-Op is your connection to the teachers and events that improve the quality of our school. With parent involvement schools routinely show increased student achievement, teacher morale, overall school ratings and reputation in the community. Plus our fundraising efforts bridge the vital gap between minimal public funding and the true needs of the school. We welcome and encourage all parents to get involved with our school as much as possible. We also have two other groups ; The Mustang Men’s Club which consists of our dads, they organize the annual Halloween Dance, Back to School Bar-BQ, the annual FUN RUN and much more. As well as our Grandparents Club which organizes monthly birthday lunch and bake sales.
