As a means to solicit feedback and give the community a seat at the table, Superintendent Dr. James Gray carries on the tradition of leading five Superintendent Councils. These councils are broken down by audience to include the Superintendent's Parent Council, Teacher Council, Student Council, Principal Council and Special Education Council. In its third year running, the councils provide critical insight to help inform and improve decsions being made a tt he district level, while eastabilishing a regular connection point between Dr. Gray and the community. The Superintendent's councils complement the work that is already taking place to make Jefferson Parish the most improved district in the state of Louisiana as outlined in 2024: The Future Our Kids Deserve.
