Bridgedale fosters a culture of trust where all students will engage in the highest levels of thinking to grow socially, emotionally, and academically through individualized learning experiences and teamwork.
Teamwork and trust for transformation and thinking
The administration, staff, families, and students of Bridgedale School share in the development of the total child in an environment conducive to learning. To achieve their full potential in all facets, individual differences will be acknowledged and valued. This belief will be consistent throughout the Bridgedale School Community. We strive to create challenges and opportunities appropriate for all students.
Guiding the total child to foster appreciation, commitment, confidence, cooperation, creativity, curiosity, empathy, enthusiasm, independence, integrity, respect and tolerance will provide a solid foundation for students who are inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, well-balanced, and reflective. This philosophy is the ultimate outcome of the Bridgedale educational experience.
JEFFERSON PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS VISION
Our vision is that JPPSS will foster the best-educated generation that the parish has ever seen. We are committed to raising academic achievement by raising the bar, putting students first, and making faster, wiser decisions that will help our district meet the needs of all students.
- All children deserve a high-quality education that develops their unique talents and builds upon their individual strengths.
- All children can learn, a belief confirmed by recent growth in student performance.
- Children’s academic success should not be determined by their race or socio-economic background.
- All children deserve excellent teachers who provide personalized instruction that will allow students to perform at a basic level or above.
